Service Description
Build resiliency, manage stress, and develop equanimity to weather the storms of life. The goal of meditation is not to empty or quiet the mind, it is in fact to be simply an observer. Contrary to popular belief, meditation is one of the most powerful practical tools one needs in their toolbox of life. The focus of this class is to build a strong foundation for a consistent meditation practice through fundamentals, silent, and guided meditations. Through meditation Kinjal invites her class to recognize the areas of comfort, then explore and play beyond the boundaries of comfort. This class is suitable for beginners and advanced students. Pranayama class focuses on connecting with and mastering the breath - the very life force that keeps us alive. This class will focus on different pranayama techniques including, but not limited to Kapaalbhati, Anulom Vilom, and Bhastrika. Kinjal will start with the fundamentals of pranayama and lead the class through detailed instructions and demonstrations of how to perform pranayama safely. The goal is to develop a consistent practice and advance in the practice of pranayama. It is recommended that students come to class on an empty stomach*. Some exercises may not be suitable for everyone. *Kinjal will check in with every student before class and offer alternatives. Everyone is welcome.
